** Edit: Levelled my second character (Kyrian Covenant rather than Nightfae) and though I could take the quest, there is NO tribute bowl to click on, as the posters above found. So best not to open a chest containing 3 if you have already found some. Note that Coin of Brokerage are Unique (3) quest items. Hovering over the chest next to the Steward shows what is in the chest and what key it requires, for example the Golden Key mentioned in Kryptaria's comment. Use it to open the box next to the statue. An Appreciative Servant will arrive and give you a key.Click on the tribute bowl at it's feet**.Turn left, and there is a statue of a servant next to the stairs.Take the stairs to the left of Elios (towards the portal down).Pick up the fruit in the bowl, on the mat to the right of Elios, the Steward. Then return to Elios for the gold chest key.Ĭomment by TequimaFor this first quest in Bastion: Track down that Steward (there will be a flag on your world map) and give them a Ripe Purian. After opening the first silver chest, talk to Elios and ask who the Steward of the Day is. You can access multiple silver chests, as long as you have enough Ripe Purians. If you jump off the edge and almost hit the chasm, you get stunned, then ported back up to the top of the waterfall. Put the Ripe Purian on the tray, and a steward will run up and give you the key to the chest.ĭon't worry about falling. The silver chest is next to the statue, with an interactable tray at the statue's feet. Having a steerable slowfall like Hearty Dragon Plume helps you aim for the Steward statue. Stand at the west edge of the waterfall, facing southwest, and jump down. You're looking for a pool with a waterfall that flows into a bottomless ravine. Go back down to ground level from Hero's Rest and make your way down into the ravine called Firstborne's Bounty, where Baedos the elite tortoise is. One is up in Hero's Rest, behind the northeast stairs leading down to the teleporter.Īnother is below Hero's Rest. He was a powerful paladin and he was a skilled warrior and those two are not exclusive of each other.īut whether he could stand up to Denathrius as he is now, if he just happened to have Ashbringer? Who knows? Could Alexandros at his prime stand up to Denathrius? Maybe.Comment by KryptariaThere are multiple Steward statues with silver chests. From the description, it sounds like Consecrate (given some allowances for story vs gameplay).Īlexandros' faith and power in the Light was unshakeable (whether that's still true I'm not sure - given he wasn't sure why he was in Maldraxxus instead of Bastion, it sounds like his faith has been shaken at least a little) and that faith was rooted in love for his family and his people. The point is that he's clearly using raw holy power, if Eligor is to be believed. That states that his faith and his status of paladin are not questionned. Now I didn't do the necrolord campaign, but it is said that he was send in Maldraxxus because his faith in the Light was due to his attachment to his familly, so he mays have been sent to the Kyrian for his paladin faith but was decided otherwise. He still is one, and therefore his connection to the light isn't cut.

And given that, the fact that he doesn't look like a paladin in Maldraxxus, but rather a warrior, doesn't mean he is no longer a paladin. But he's way closer to the warrior side than the priest side, that was my point. Alexandros use a sword and have holy power, which make him a paladin. There's no chance he can stand up Denathrius alone.ĮDIT : Right, I will rewrite this because people are getting crazy. He had a holy relic but really he's just Varian with more faith and the Ashbringer. Lorewise, Alexandros wasn't a powerful paladin, but an incredible warrior that fought for the Holy Light. He can still be a paladin without having a golden armor.
